Interviews with youngsters from the circusproject in Oschersleben

Wir waren Mitte August auf der Poi- und Jonglier-Convention des Landesjugendwerks der AWO in Magdeburg, dort lernten wir einige der Artist_innen, Poi Spieler_innen, Jongleure und Jongleurinnen aus Oschersleben kennen. So kam die Idee auf, dem Zirkusprojekt – den Awolinos, einen Besuch abzustatten. Letzte Woche war es dann soweit und wir führten spannende Interviews mit einigen der Artisten und Artistinnen.

In august some of us were participants of the Poi and Juggeling Convention in Magdeburg. There we meet nice poi- and juggelingartists from Oschersleben. So we decided to visit the Awolinos and we made great interviews with the youngsters.

Interview with Lucas:

Lucas: Hallo ich bin Lucas, 18 Jahre und wohne in Oschersleben

M.: Wie lange trainierst du schon im Zirkus?

Lucas:

Ich trainiere hier schon seit 6 Jahren und am Liebsten jongliere ich mit Keulen

I´m here in the circus since 6 years and my favourite elemements are the culls.

M.: Was wünschst du dir für die Zukunft? What´s your future dreams?

Lucas:

Ich würde gern weiter im Zirkus trainieren und für Oschersleben wünsche ich mir mehr offene Räume für Jugendliche.

I would like to train in the circus  in further times and I wish more open rooms for youth in Oschersleben.

Interview with Hamam:

Hamam:

Hello, I´m Hamam and I live in Oschersleben. Since 10 Month I´m practicing in the Circus.

Hallo, ich bin Hamam und ich lebe in Oschersleben. Seit 10 Monaten trainiere ich im Zirkus, bei den Awolinos.

M.: What do you like the most? Was magst du am Liebsten?

Hamam: Juggeling iI like the most. Jonglieren mag ich am Meisten.

Hamam:

My dream is to work with kids and with methods of the circus. But first I have to learn german.

Mein Traum ist es mit Kindern zu arbeiten und dabei Methoden aus dem Zirkus anzuwenden. Aber erst muss ich noch gut deutsch lernen.

Interview with Julia:

Julia:

Hallo, ich bin Julia und lebe derzeit noch in Oschersleben. Ich bin seit ca. 1 Jahr im ZirkusProjekt.

Hello, I´m Julia and I live in Oschersleben. Since one year I´m active in the circus project.

M.: Was machst du hier am Liebsten? What do you like the most?

Julia.:

Meine Lieblingsübungen und Geräte sind das Vertikaltuch und die großen Kugeln, auf denen ich balancieren übe. Ich ziehe leider um, will aber auf jedenfall weiter zum Training kommen und in Kontakt bleiben, weil der Zirkus für mich wie eine kleine Familie geworden ist.

My favourite elements are the vertical cloth an the big scupe. I will move house but I want to progress to the training, because the circus is a small familiy for me.

Interview mit Jasmin:

Jasmin:

Ich bin bereits seit 5 Jahren hier bei den Awolinos, mir gefällt besonders gut, dass „man hier Zusammenhalt kriegt und es gibt kaum Streit. Der Zirkus ist für mich wie eine 2. Familie und ich habe hier auch Freunde gefunden. Ich möchte später Erzieherin werden, da hilft mir das was ich hier lerne sehr.“

I´m here since 5 years. I like most that the circus is like my second family and I found friends here. Later I like to work with kids and I think the methods of the circus will help me.

M: Was ist deine Lieblingsübung? What are your favourite element?

Jasmin: Ich mag total das Vertikaltuch! I like the most the vertical cloth!

Interview mit Metzi:

M.: Wie lang bist du schon hier beim Circus? How long you train already in the circus project?

Metzi:

Ich bin schon seit ca. 4,5 Jahre hier, seit 2012 glaube ich. Meine Lieblingselemente sind die Keulen und Jonglierbälle.

I think since 2012. Culls are my favorits.

„Ich würde mir echt wünschen, dass es hier in Oschersleben mehr Möglichkeiten zum Austausch mit anderen Artisten und Künstler_innen gibt. So das wir uns Tricks austauschen können“

Interview mit Jenny:

Jenny:

Hallo ich bin Jenny und ich bin noch nicht so lange hier bei Zircus. Ich habe die Awolinos erst im März 2016 kennengelernt und jetzt bin ich sehr froh, hier im Bereich der Sozialen Gruppenarbeit und beim Zircusprojekt, mein Freiwilliges Sozialen Jahr (FSJ) zu machen.

Hello, I´m Jenny and I´m still not so long in the Circus. I get to know the Awolinos in march 2016 and now I´m very happy to make my voluntary service (FSJ) here in the social grouptraining and in the circus project.

M.: Wie kam es dazu? How it came about?

Jenny:

Ich möchte gern Erfahrungen im sozialen Bereich sammeln, da ich später evtl. Soziale Arbeit studieren möchte. Da bieten sich mir hier totale viele neue Lernfelder und ja die Arbeit hier macht richtig Spass, besonders die Arbeit mit den Kindern!

I like to collect experience in social work/ part, because later on  I like to study social work. Here in my voluntary service I have alot of learning stuff and YES my work  makes a lot of fun, especielly the work with the kids!
